I love this little park, it's situated in a great location and despite it's relatively small footprint has much to offer. These amenities include: (but are not limited to) superbly maintained grounds, a function and picnic area featuring a beautiful and spacious gazebo with built-in benches and barbeque grills, large picnic tables with roofs to provide protection from the elements, a small but purpose fulfilling basketball court, a fitness trail that loops quickly through an adjacent wooded area and continues around the parks' periphery, and the piece de resistánce; a viewing platform on the edge of a sharp defile that manages to display an astonishing amount of engagingly picturesque Zanesville Ohio (including a pair of the city's many fantastic bridges). Like a bright gem in a recessed setting, Putnam Landing Park shines while tucked away, out of view while paradoxically providing the best view around, and enhancing Zanesville as a whole thanks to it's efficient, comfortably intuitive design. If you happen to be in the area, do yourself a favor and pay it a visit. You'll thank me later

Not what used to be when I was a kid lot of things missing now not really a safe place for kids too many drug dealers in the area
Great peaceful place for great scenic views on a lunchbreak.
