Jess is one of the hardest working people I know. You won't always be able to walk in and get a quick oil change(call ahead), but you can guarantee it'll be done right the first time, and it's a lot cheaper than Jiffy Lube.
Our car broke down on I-70 about 20 miles east of Zanesville just before 4:00PM on a Friday. By the time AAA arrived it was after 5:00. I asked the tow truck driver to take us to a repair shop that would still be open, and he took us to Monro shop in Zanesville. Jess and his team did their best to help us - they immediately began diagnosing the problem, and seeing that it had lost transmission fluid they added some and tried to find the source of the leak. Upon seeing that it was a bigger problem than they were equipped to handle they referred us to the local AAMCO shop. They didn't charge us a dime, although they certainly could have.
Jess works hard and really cares about his customers. It seems the place is always understaffed, and hard to find good help in this trade. However, they still manage to turn around cars quickly and I feel they are priced fairly.
We are very grateful for their honesty and the courteous treatment they gave us.
Jess and the guys do great work! Always been there when the inevitable problem springs up!
Personnel is friendly and helpful, but limited with their tools and what they can fix.
